About the Owners
Probably the first thing we should do is explain the photo…we found this old tractor on Williamson’s vineyard when we were on a field trip with Melanie’s high school friend and photographer and before we knew it we had gone into full “Zoolander” mode. But seriously, we’re happy that you’ve decided to visit the site. Hopefully while you’re looking around the site or sharing some wine with us, you’ll learn more about our craft, the great people who grow our grapes and the wild geology of the Snake River Valley AVA. We love living in Boise, whether it is skiing at Bogus Basin, exploring the mountains (and hot springs) or going to the farmer’s market on Saturday… we feel very lucky to live in such a great state. That is one reason we are extremely dedicated to making the best wine possible. As the husband and wife owners of Cinder we hope to express the beauty of this place and its people through our wine. So here’s to sharing the stories that are held within the glass. Enjoy.
